How do you stop bootlegged copies of your concert from being passed around?

Bootleg them yourself!  That is exactly what the all out, balls to the walls, heavy metal rock band has done… and the fans seem to love it.  Disturbed announced that with its new Music as a Weapon Tour they would be recording EACH concert and selling bootleg copies of it………. now wait for it……

Here it comes………….

Keep waiting………….

Okay, are you ready??

They are going to sell the complete live play list from each concert along with pictures and other things that people often bootleg for a whopping…

9.99 Bootleg Downloads

9.99 Bootleg Downloads

Yes that’s right boys and girls.  You can go and pay $19.99, $24.99 and even $29.99 for the CD and/or DVD…. or you can pay a measly $9.99 and get the authorized bootleg copy directly from Disturbed!

Now Personally, I have affection for Disturbed.  I happen to think that they are brilliant in their music, their art, and their lyrics.  They truly use their music to speak out for the people unable to speak for themselves.  They have battled child abuse, political corruption, suicide, and gross gluttony of every human being on this planet, all through their music.   This,  this, my dear readers is above even what I had imagined.  No more will people try and get a grainy video while at a concert off a cell phone.  No more will they dream of having one small part of their favorite band to remember them by, only to not obtain it.  Now, it is available to everyone!

I will, of course, pre-order my copy from last nights concert.   I will post it all over that I have it, I will listen to it every second of every day… and I will relive the feeling of freedom I had when David spoke directly to me and told me that I was at the biggest group therapy session in the world.  He did you know…. he spoke directly to me… just me!  Now I know he is in love, and I am sure she is very nice.. but only I can make him happy!

<Laugh> Now in all seriousness, David didn’t sing just for me, but the ability to download the concert for $9.99 is way freekin cool!  Good job Disturbed.  What a marketing tool.  Way to make money off of something that usually costs you millions!  I give you 2 thumbs up.
